SEL Guidance Document

NCP4SEL is excited to release this guidance document, NCP4SEL Social and Emotional Learning Competencies, Strategies, and Practices, that is the result of two years of work by the advisory members and external partners. Districts, schools, and/or classrooms utilizing this document are encouraged to provide feedback on the document. Please submit feedback, recommendations, or ideas for resources and practices to ncp4sel@ gmail.com (remove space in address to send email).

Conscious Discipline Series

In partnership with the North Country Partnership for SEL Practices, NCES offers Conscious Discipline's Building Resilient Schools and Homes e-course for the at least once a school year with a one group for educators and another for parents and caregivers. Through online videos by Dr. Becky Bailey, this comprehensive program combines, social-emotional learning, discipline, and classroom management for transformational results. Lesley Institute for Trauma Sensitivity (LIfTS) North Country Cohort

NCES, working in partnership with Lesley University, is offering a graduate certificate program, Lesley Institute for Trauma Sensitivity (LIfTS) for a northern NH cohort. The current cohort will complete the four-course program in the fall of 2020.

Child-Parent Psychotherapy - North Country Cohort

From fall of 2021 through the Training is underway with Cassie Yackley, PsyD. with support from the Coos Coalition for Family and Young Children
